COJA Youth Collective
Our Youth Collective is a space for young creatives to explore, express, and celebrate their Jewish identity. Whether they are growing up immersed in the community or are finding their way into it for the first time, young artists can connect with like-minded peers, share stories and build lasting relationships.
This is an after-school program held in a professional gallery space, led by artists and COJA executives; Romi Kupfer and Dominic Weintraub. Each workshop is designed to meet the needs, skills and interests of all participants and focuses on giving young people agency, artistic skills and a platform to recognised within our creative community.
No artistic experience is required to be part of the collective, it is a flexible and inclusive space.
The COJA Youth Collective comes together on a regular basis to:
-
Share dinner (Kosher dinner provided)
-
Participate in creative activities
-
Develop and present new artistic work
-
Engage in discussion around arts, community, and culture
-
Meet other like-minded young people
